Green Spaces of Northeast LANortheast Los Angeles is abundant in green space with over 600 acres of open space within the area, and an additional 5,000 acres in nearby Griffith Park and Elysian Park on the edge of the area. It is even possible to hike into the Angeles National Forest from a trail that starts in Northeast LA.

Ascot Hills

On a clear day, the hills in this park provide expansive views across the Southland that include: Downtown LA, the Hollywood Sign, Dodgers Stadium, Mt Wilson, Mt Baldy, Mt San Jacinto and Catalina Island.

Debs Park
|
Debs Park is the 4th largest park in Los Angeles and in addition to its many miles of hiking trails is home to the Audubon Nature Center that hosts educational programs for children and adults throughout the year.
